Bamboo is an eco-friendly fabric that has a number of amazing qualities which makes it the ideal choice for babies clothing. It is incredibly soft and luxurious; contains a natural anti-bacterial agent; moisture absorbent and breathable; hypoallergenic and non-irritating; biodegradable and naturally regenerative; and is a highly renewable and sustainable raw material.*
On opening the packets and removing the clothing from the bag I have to say great first impressions. The fabric on both outfits was just lovely and so soft. To quote from the website this is “ecofriendly baby wear made from bamboo fibre and organic cotton”. This is something that you want to put next to your babies skin as it is so smooth.
I love the colour a lovely soft pink that I have found wonderful to go with so many things. I also loved the fact that both outfits are plain as so many clothes are covered in too many prints and patterns. The long sleeved bodysuit has been great to wear alone and also under tops at this time of year and the lovely colour has worked well in Saffron’s wardrobe for that fashionable layered look!
With a history of eczema in our family I have purchased a few brands of organic cotton clothes for Saffron and I was very impressed with the price on these items – they are very affordable and I will look to buy some additional items for her wardrobe.
